Dan is thrilled to be working on two brand new projects! One is an upcoming game out of Midnight Synergy using the extraordinary voice of singer and vocal actress Mary Morgan and another is an unannounced project employing the world-class Philadelphia Boys Choir and Men's Chorale.

August 1st, 2010 | Sunny California

Moving the ol' studio out to Sunny Southern California!

March 10, 2010 | Monkeying Around

Tonight LucasArts announced that The Secret of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge: Special Edition is currently in production and I am pleased to announce my involvement. If you have not had a chance to play the original, I highly recommend this charming and quirky game.

March 9-13, 2010 | Dan at GDC

I will be out of the studio attending the annual Game Developers Conference in beautiful San Francisco next week. Hope to see you there. If you want to connect during the conference, drop me a line at dan@musicianeer.com or call me during the conference.

March 6, 2010 | New Site and Music Update

Ah, my old site design was getting pretty dusty. Over 3 years old! So, with the help of Thien Ho, I’m rolling out a brand new design and to kick it off I’ve updated my old music section with recent tunes. Check them out and let me know what you think!

February 1, 2010 | Short Break

Only a small little weekend of a break before I'm at it again. This time doing some rush work for a huge publisher on a spectacular IP.
Hope to tell you all soon what it is I'll be doing!

January 27, 2010 | First Wave of Tracks for Dawntide Complete

If you're playing the Beta, then you know it won't be long before WAISoft will be implementing the first wave of tracks for Dawntide. I was happy to have the opportunity to work with Hannes Frischat, who provided some brilliant cello work and with Jeff Ball, who provided us with a beautiful violin solo.

Dan Reynolds is an award winning composer with a love for video games and interactive arts. As a youngster, he was inspired by the great film and game composers of the 80s and 90s. Everyone from Alan Menken and Hiroki Kikuta to Jerry Goldsmith and Nobuo Uematsu. When other kids in school were rocking out to Greenday on their CD Walkmen, Dan was rocking out to the Best of John Williams.

He was encouraged at home and at school early on in his life and by his senior year at Boulder High School, he was writing concert music for the High School Orchestra. By the time he graduated from the University of Colorado, he had already provided original scores for several independent game titles and assisted production for AAA composers like Richard Jacques.

Most recently won an award for his work on Monkey Island 2: Special Edition.
